Today was the first day that I actually saw the sun. It was a great sight to see. The sky is usually overcast and everything is in a grey tone. It makes the day dreary. However, when I opened the curtain window I saw a bright blue sky and all the beautiful colored buildings from my room. The days are all starting to run together because we do the same thing everyday. We wake up, make breakfast, go out to the store, come back and have a late lunch, go out again to workout, go to the grocery store, and then come back and make dinner, and then hang out until we get tired. We slept for 12 hours on Saturday morning. It was awesome! I dont remember the last time that I slept that long, but I would do it again any day! The Estonians are on a whole different schedule. The bars and clubs...which I have yet to experience, dont really get busy until about 2am and then they stay open until 6am. I dont think I am ever planning or adjusting to that kind of schedule. They stay out that late because I learned that they just dont go to class. It apparently is just not important here. I spoke with an Estonian student about her first day of classes and she told me that she skipped her first class of the semester. We happened to run into another student from Wesleyan that studied here last semester at an internation student welcome party, and he told us that he stopped going to class half way through his semester yet he still managed to earn A's and B's in all of this classes. How does this work? When I find out I will let you know. However, I will not be skipping my classes because I am excited for them. I am taking:
Archeaology of the Ancient Near East
Estonian Language (which will be VERY difficult)
Radical Political Philosophy
Aristotle's Epistomology
Consciousness, Meaning, and Philosophy of the Mind
Multicultural America
Estonian Culture
The education system is much different here. We only have each class once a week for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I dont know what I will be doing with the rest of my time, but I better find something to keep me busy. I didnt have any class today so tomorrow will be my first experience. Every Estonian says all of the classes for the international are easy because the teachers are not native english speakers and all of the other non-native english speakers have to take classes in english. So I think we luck out with being native english speakers.

We all read "C is for Cornhusker" and "Husker Numbers" together one night. Everyone loved reading childrens books about home.
