Shower

We have a very interesting shower in our flat. It hangs on a hook, but the shower has a hand held head that can be taken off the hook. The first night we moved in, I went to take a shower and someone had left it on the floor. I went to turn on the water to get it warm before I got in and I turned to the sink to wash my hands. Do you know what happens when you leave a pressurized hose on the floor? Ill tell you-it starts going crazy. The hose started flying everywhere and getting the entire bathroom wet. I hadn't even taken off my clothes yet and I was trying to catch the hose, but I ended up getting soaked before I even got in the shower. I was running back and forth trying to catch the shower head, but everywhere I turned I just kept getting soaked. It looked like the bathroom had been flooded. Needless to say, we now make sure no one leave the shower head on the floor.

When the shower hangs on the hook, it hangs at a 45 degree angle toward the wall. So when we take showers, we practically stand in the corner if we want to water to hit us. We were discussing our shower as we were having cake for Sean's birthday and we all decided that the shower has continued to turn since we have been here. It is progressively getting worse. We all leave our shampoo and soap on the far side wall of the shower and we all realized tonight that the bottles no longer sit against the wall. Since we stand in the corner to shower, we realized that our shampoo has now moved to the center of the shower instead of against the wall.

On the plus side, our shower has a heat floor! It actually gets pretty warm. I always dread getting out of my bed because I create a cacoon at night of pure warm delight and when I wake up, the last thing I want to do is leave my cacoon. But the warm floor in the shower sure does make getting out of bed much less dreadful.
